Rei Puta, this is a sculputural taonga carved from light spotted Kokopu Pounamu made to resemble a sperm whale tooth and adorned with kirikiore unaunahi. This stone was collected by Peter Tauwhare of Ngati Waewae from Kawhaka Creek in the Arahura district. Length is 9.5cm approx.
